Hi,

My S3 has now done 98k miles (25k by me) and as far as I am aware has had nothing done to suspension except new top mounts and shocks that I did myself after a couple of months of ownership. I have searched around and haven't found a definitive list of "must do" suspension repairs. Hence asking this question.

Drove a nice fast b road last night and when over rougher tarmac and through corners she's beginning to feel figetty and a little unpredictable. Certainly worse than we I first bought it. I don't want to spend a fortune but want to tighten it all up so which bushes and areas are the best places to spend money? I.e. which wear out first and should I go oem or aftermarket? Also, how much can be done myself with a basic tool kit?!

Cheers

Cheers Karl. Any usual suspects as I will probably do it in stages. Someone mentioned the trailing arms on the rear of particular significance?
