got tc light on and man light on been told its the maf sensor can these be cleaned or are they easy to replace have had a kn panel filter in it mines a 2003 bam engine
 
I had the tc light come on with a faulty mad, the light only stayed on until the ig notion was switched on and off then rests for a while.

If you are getting a new maf get one from tps.!!! I have 4 cheep eBay ones and a ecp one in the garage....

ps i think it was too muck oil on my filter that killed the maf
 
Try unplugging it and see if the car runs better. Maf I mean.

Vcds lite and cheep eBay cable or full vcds is a must.
 
had it scanned today showed up air mass sensor
 
Should do, if its a maf fault although I did have to clear existing faults one time though.

As tuffty says would check for faults with a scan

Ok... what was the actual code? makes a difference as there are a few MAF related codes and not all are due to a problem with the MAF..

As already suggested though the TC light staying on is typically due to a knackered MAF but its always a good idea to scan first, post codes and go from there
