Seat Seat

I've had no or little replies to various posts I've made for advice. Maybe it's time to try a different forum.
 
Ummmm maybe then! I didn't get any replies to my first Post on here but after a couple of day's I did manage to get a few lad's to comment. No luck since though!? I've even put a load of up rated in the for sale section & no one has even asked about anything! You know of another good A3 8l Forum?
 
There's Audi Forums, Audi World and Audi Owners Club. Not tried them but may be worth a shot.

Generally speaking if people have no answer they don't post... its not something that most people would consider or actually have to do... that said... I know some one that fitted S3 recaro leather front seats and rear seats into his LCR... apparently they went straight in but I never looked close enough to see if there were any fitting issues

That may be the case, and I know you have tried to help me with an issue a couple weeks ago which I was grateful for tuffty, but I'm pretty sure the issues I've posted about have been experienced by others. Maybe new members should be given more than a 'use the search function' answer as I've seen on many posts as well, ok the question may have been asked before but sometimes people are looking for a discussion, not a 'google it' black and white answer. Just my two cents anyway! As I said I was grateful for the advice you gave me though (maybe as you were the only one!) :)

Yeah I think people just genuinely don't know in this case :( Stick with the forum a bit, I come on here for info despite not even owning an Audi! It's just a good place for anything 1.8t related.

It might be worth checking the Seat forums, as I can imagine someone with a Leon wanting to fit S3 seats being more likely than the other way around, and if they fit, it should work the other way too.

PS. Matt, just spotted your location. I'll keep an eye out for your S3, it looks nice.
 
Thanks Robin, it is pretty tidy, a few marks but good condition really. A couple issues I need to sort out (boost valve and Haldex problem) but won't cost me much really. Don't think I've seen your Scirocco around?
