Hi folks, does anyone knows how to retrieve a code on a genuine sat nav of a rs6 ? I have the chassis number but i have misplaced the pin number... I don't mind paying, too busy to go to dealer...
 
some times audi will give it free is you use the vin and serial number from the unot as long as it was fitted to car when new

as above ebay but you have to send them the unit
try to call audi sometimes they give it you over the phone.
 
Thanks ! Not fan of sending the unit, i know they do open the unit then clone the cip to get the code, by doing that sometimes the pads lift and the stereo does not take updates... Dealer it is then !
 
cant be that hard probably find the process on some warez site and do it for nothing, bit like all those backup CDs u see on ebay. Easy money for them i reckon.
 
Granted I don't know the serial number of your radio, but there's no requirement to send the unit to them.
