metalic rattle squeak when let of accel intermittent?

hey all, since ive had the s3 occassionally at very low speeds while turning, below 10mph iv had a weird squeak rattle noise that happened very occassionally.. thought nothing of it but today it got alot worse?

if im driving at 30 then let of i get a rattly/squeaky/nut in camshaft kinda noise... its still intermittent btw but obviously annoying ?

thinking maybe aux belt tensioner or aircon pump bearings???

its a 1999 apy s3, with 144000 any help?

hey ant, thanks i'll have a look. it had a new alternator just before i got it apparrently, in april, but prob a crappy pattern part...

been flat out at work, have a look the weekend.. anyone else had a similar experience when there alternator clutch gave up?
