Hi guys,
I have been reading the forums about detailing here and looking at some of the cars they look AMAZING.
I usually just take my cars down Tesco and give them a blast and if I have time a quick t-cut polish as never really been overly bothered about them, but I saw a A4 same colour as mine and the paint was like glass and mine looked like it's been cleaned with a scouring pad lol
So I'm looking at getting mine sorted!
As I've never attempted this I was wondering if anyone around the east Midlands would let me come and watch/have a go (under there supervision) and give me a few pointers and tips?
Or if anyone could give my car a good session (I'd pay obviously) and let help out?
I'm willing to travel but not 100s of miles
Also the best products for beginners would be helpful
Oh and my car is Mauritius blue don't know if that helps lol
Cheers

I am a newbie also but just about to have ago at detailing myself! I have the same colour car and washed it like u. I talked to mark at brotek who is on here and he gave me lots of advice. Mauritius blue car's look stunning when polished.

I'll send him a pm mate thanks.
Also our colour looks amazing the one I saw looked like it was just out the show room and it was a 06 plate fair play to the bloke it looked amazing

I hope that helps. I must admit I had no idea about detailing but I'm going to give it a try. Polish and wax for now and after the winter I might have a go at removeing the scratches! It took me months to find my car, had to have it in Mauritius blue.lol. It's got to be one of the best colours.

Yeah I have a few light scratches on mine must be the colour lol.
I'll send him a pm when I have a few minutes free.
Think it will be a polish and wax also just give it a bit of protection for the winter months then like you I'll tackle the scratches in the spring
Cheers again
