Upgrade clutch on A3 TQ

I'm searching for a new clutch (and flywheel?) for my A3 TQ.

Any suggestions? (I think I've got the same clutch as the S3 - could someone please ack og nack? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Will the R32 Clutch fit?
 
AndyC at GDI has just fitted an uprated clutch and flywheel to a Big Turbo 2.0l stroker conversion S3 producing over 400BHP. Maybe give him a try... or look here at his website.

I have it on good authority that prices are in the process of being sorted for the site /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Many of the products are done but there are new products being added all the time (I know there are actually other clutch options too) so if you need something just give them a call or drop them an e-mail, they're great people at GDI /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ok.gif

I needed a new clutch after my remap shagged mine. The car (BMW in this case so jokes welcome) is only 6 months old so I had to get it done under warrenty so I cant upgrade mine yet for another 2.5 years /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

And in that 2.5 years I bet if it goes again you'll get yet another free one on warranty eh? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

This is a clutch for FWD cars only /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I know fasteddie is running a Sachs clutch and lightened fly wheel on his S3 - it might be worth a PM.

hi ole,i'm running a sachs organic with race facings and uprated pressure plate.Feels like oem stock and good for 360lb/t+
 
a standard one won't do 400bhp.

its a custom build we had made... closest off the shelf unit to it is the GT3071

I didn't think a gt2871r would do 400bhp either.

I take it you have a small gt3071r.
I probably would spec a .64 a/r gt3071r for a solid 420bhp.
 
audi upgrades
76mm inlet trim, 56 out... IIRC larger than the 3071, but different pitch to the blades on the exhaust turbine....

On a sidenote,how much do charge for a set of eurospec rods 20mm pins?
