That's exactly where mine changes up too, however, I tried to "beat" the gear box, or let it beat my, one of the other! What I found is it doesn't do it all of the time, only sometimes.
Whatever it does it's still infuriating, but I'm hoping that I wont want to rev so hard when I get the Revo, and this will go to some point in erradicating the problem,
Other than that, I'm happy I chose the DSG, as 90% of the time, it's a joy to drive.
On a different note, isn't the traction control one of the best on the market? It really is far better than any other system that I've tried, very unobtrusive and allows you to exploit a pretty good chassis! I reminded myself of this today as the roads were pretty dry for a change, and I was in full on sports mode when testing the DSG out! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
