Just wondering if anyone on the forum has taken this offer up from Audi, seems a good offer and it's free for 3 years.
They basically guarantee your car repaired if you’re in an accident by Audi authorise repairer no matter who you are insured by...
They do all the so called work !!

how much ?

Good spot, surprised this was not highlighted by my dealer when I picked up the car......have just signed up, thanks.

Will save the hassle you have to deal with when your insurer wants you to use their approved service rather than Audi approved garage.

Nice!!! Going to sign up now. Must be a new thing they're doing and for dealers to not know about.

AudiSparks how did you find out?

agreed, something should done about this as insurers really don't care anymore. its easy money as you have to be insured by law. when someone drove into the back of my wifes car she was with a Diamond whom are useless - I ended up dealing with NINE different companies and their repairers were so useless I could have done a better job blind drunk ad blindfolded. the insurer said theyd get them to redoit, but I refused and told ill use preferred repairers otherwise id report the insurance company to trading standards, etc

similarly I had to deal with SEVEN companies when some blind pakistani muppet reversed into my car

No matter who you are insured with you can tell your insurance company where you want your car repaired at. My old A5 was damaged and my insurance company told me they have their own authorised repairer, i told them that i wanted it repaired at Swansway bodyshop and not theirs. They couldn't say no.

AudiSparks - Nice1! thank you for that info. Signed up for that just now :)

This was such a good find by Audisparks :)
I think it should be stickyed in every section so everyone can find it and get the cover they need/want :)

Indeed superb find AudiSparks. Just signed up.

Agree with the surprise of others that Audi don't broadcast this to new owners.

John.

Yeh, but you tend to lose some things like hire car cover etc when you use something other than their approved one.

I've signed up to this Esurance now though, look great!

Is this not just a Audi branded claims management company?

I got a similar free package when I took delivery of the S3 but is done by the dealer (Cheshire Oaks audi) and they offer all the same things. Perhaps it's the same but premoted by the dealer

Yes. It's probably a way of ensuring that their approved body shops are used instead of insurers approved bodyshops.

Still, if it takes the hassle away from you....

Hi, but that's not a bad thing as is should ensure you get genuine Audi parts not some cheap copy...

I'm not saying it is a bad thing.... just clarifying why I think they offer the service.

Everything Audi does appears to be designed with making you (or the insurance company!) part with more money into Audis coffer... They are the car manufacturer equivalent of Apple :)

Well... in this case, they aren't selling it to you.... (I'll sign up when I get my A3 though).

I read the booklet and couldn't see an obvious catch.. Signed up! Thanks very much for pointing it out AudiSparks!

I signed up to this when AudiSparks first posted but have not received the email with all the details as it said on the website.

Has anybody else received the email?

Good point, no I have not received an email yet, but the policy wording booklets and contact details etc are on the website via the link at the start of the thread.

including contact details if you don't get confirmation as follows:

If you haven't received your Confirmation of Cover and Ensurance Cover Booklet within 24 hours of activating Ensurance please call us on 0845 900 3647, so we can arrange for a copy to be sent to you. A copy of the Ensurance Cover Booklet can also be found here.

further update: Just phoned and they have taken my contact details and will call back Monday

Forgot to provide an update, but better late than never.......Unfortunately, I never got a return phone call, first black mark for Audi customer service for me, but found the confirmation email and PDF confirmation of cover in my email Spam folder, and had been sent within a couple of hours of filling in the original on line form.

Thought it might be worth bumping this to remind all the new owners about it :)

Old thread but i just thought I'd reply to say thanks for the heads up on this and to remind anyone who has yet to do this. I had forgotten myself so hopefully this will prompt anyone as forgetful as me.
