opening passenger door with fob key

how many times does it take to open the passenger door,i have too click it a few times and its quite annoyin.is this normal for everyone?same with the boot aswell.ever found that it opens fine but the boot catch bounces and doesnt lock till u press the boot button.anythin im doin wrong or poss a fault?
 
its like 3 times to let someone in theother side,even tried holding down the button longer but seems like it doesnt work.just frustratin when previous cars.how many does urs need?
 
Selective locking is a coding option, you press once for drivers door, twice for all.

Boot is just case of holding button down until it pops open.

You can change the option on your trip computer to allow one click to open all doors.
 
Needs to be ticked in vcds as well I thought :)
All my doors open with 1 click :)
 
Only possible in dis if the menu is coded & dis supports this feature.

I've got this feature on my car... I like the doors bit, but the bootlock is a severe pain in the ahole!

Can't really see why it was designed to only open the driver door on one click set from the factory?
The doors lock after 15mph, or is that only on the newer ones?
 
would this be audi having to look at this and not charge do u think?or am i being petty

15 mph all doors lock as been on vags since 1999 once again vcds to alter it

Can be done using VCDS so Audi should be able to do it but may charge. Better to find someone local who can do it for you as it literally takes 2 mins if they know what they're doing.

If you're anywhere near Leeds, I could do it for you.

ive managed to get my mate from blackburn (automobili).thankyou for offering,appreciate u wud of done it for a stranger :)
