I am ordering an A1 S-Line but cant decide wether to get it in Brilliant Black or Amalfi White. It does look nice in white and I know its the 'in' colour at the moment but I wonder if it will be when I go to trade in, in 3 years time when black is a timeless classic. Also what is the white like trying to keep clean or if it gets a scratch??

Please Guys/Girls I need your help!

I think Ibis white would resell better as it's not cream which is not to everyone's tastes.

Has anyone got any pictures that might sway my decision?

Placed the order today got the 1.6TDI S-Line in Amafli white with comfort pack. Just have to wait until december for delivery.

ummmmm.........have you seen Amalfi and Glacier side by side??
I have Glacier.....personal opinion.....but I seriously dislike Amalfi

Yes I have seen them both, Glacier is like a pure white and the Amalfi white has a hint of cream to it but I still like it.

The most important thing is of course that you are happy....and you are.
They are awesome little cars.....roll on your December delivery!!

nice, not had a white car for ages, probably just as hard work as a black car to keep looking good though

My last three have been black but I'm into detailing so look after my own cars, unless my back is playing up !

I had a white one as a loan car the other day, it was dirty within minutes and would drive me up the wall.

Can you not get a colour? Red? Blue?

I've had three white cars and TBH they don't show every mark. They get dirty quick in the winter, what car doesn't but on the plus side they don't show every water mark like darker colour can.

I did want Glacier, but i ended up with Amalfi.
I eventually ended up with an Approved Used model, but it worked out much cheaper and i got tons of extras (tech pack, cruise, parking sensors etc...)

I wonder if these pics of my Amalfi will help you decide

The newer pics are the ones where my contrast lines, roof and boot is black :D

Well picked it up about 4 weeks ago now but have been far too busy to post. I am really pleased with it, the quality is exceptional especially for a small car.

I was just wondering what MPG are people getting out of the 1.6TDI?? I have only done 800 miles so far mainly town driving but half the time I can get a clear run and its averaging 47MPG thats is 4th or 5th doing around 35-40MPH. I was hoping for more than that but I guess the engine is still bedding in.

Got to be black but then I'm biased as mines black I did go to look at white one when I bought it but black won hands down for me
