Guys and girls, would like to put this post out.
This is by all means not an advertising stunt or taking business away from sponsors, this is purely to express my experience with 4rings.
I came across Dean from 4Rings on other forum sites, and everyone, and I mean everyone had nothing but good words to say about him.
Dean use to be an Audi master tech then decided to go on his own.
I called his office a few weeks ago and said I would like a major service (AVS) and brake fluid change for my A3 2006 "56" 2.0tdi 170. We booked it for 10am today Sunday, and he turned up on my door dead on time.
He gave my car a major service and inspection, and when I mean major, it was not a 1hr job but a good few hours and checked everything. He even noticed a split turbo charge seal which he replaced, and also a couple of other niggly bits.
I have been having probs with my DPF first warning light coming on lately, which I took to Audi and said they could not find anything wrong.
Dean checked this for me and too, could not find anything wrong, but did say that there was a DPF Software update that only Audi could perform. When i questioned Audi, they said there was no software update as i was a bit suspicious as i also read elsewhere there was.
Dean called me back when he got back to the office, and gave me the software update file and cd-rom it is from and told me to take it back to Audi and hand this over to them. (Anyone wandering, the DPF software came out June 2009)
Back to the servicing, he uses ONLY genuine Audi parts and the correct Quantum Longlife 3 oil.
All in all, I am very very pleased with his excellent services, and it was not a bother to him for the questions i asked. And to top it all of, his prices are very very competetive and much cheaper than the stealers, with a much better service all round.
He is from the Dartford area but travels all around London, kent and essex (i am in enfield).
To sum it up, i will definatley be using 4Rings again, as they come very highly recommended, and i am now another of their happy customers.
