turbo whooshing noise problems

Hi, turbo is making a whooshing/wind noise on spooling its quite loud until turbo kicks in. Turbo pulls well and had no loss in power oil etc all fine.
Local garage says it could be turbo fins or a boost pipe but cant tell until he gets parts off.
any help would be great I'm hoping it doesn't need a new turbo as the car had one 30k ago.

Any help would be great.

It could be a pipe that's come off the intercooler, open the bonnet and rev the car and see if you can hear the noise more

mine had come off the passenger side , I had to get a new pipe from audi
 
Boost pipe mate i had that problem get it fixed asap
 
I couldn't see anything on mine from the top, I had to take the under tray off and you could see it straight away, I tryed putting it back on but it kept coming back off so your best getting a new pipe and clip

I had my head under the passenger side wheel and I can hear a slight whooshing its at garage tomorrow so fingers crossed thats it. How mich was a new pipe?

That's the same one side that went on mine, I got it from audi and I think it was about £45
