After having picked up my 2012 A4 Avant at the weekend, I noticed there was not a wallet containing handbook etc.

Dealer has sent me a pack but it contains an owners handbook dated 11/2010 and it included a booklet for DVD Navigation which the car has not got! Is there a newer one? The handbook shows older style steering wheel etc.

I can't help but think they have lost the one for the car and have just sent me one they had hanging around!

Also should the car have a service book? Salesman seemed to think Audi's don't have one anymore!

Any help would be great.
 
Just checked the issue date of my handbook and it is 11.2012 (Mar 2013 car) with code 132.561.8KO.20.

If you do not have nav fitted you should have the basic MMI handbook.

Service books issued with new cars do not have pages for stamps to be applied any more. All service history is collated electronically and owners will be given a service sheet to keep in the service book. If the dealer has not already done so, as them for a print out of the cars service history, alternatively ask them for the old style service book and get them to update it from the computer records.
