I picked up some a8 d2 sport wheels yesterday and fitted them to my b6 avant, I love them and they are different from the usual rs4 and rs6 wheels that 90% of these cars are upgraded with.

Wheels look good on the car and I've always liked those ones too and like you say its different too.

got a set of them 18x8.5
just getting a fresh coat of paint !!!
Now for the rubber......
 
They look so much better than the standard wheels.
they have 245 tyres on so has a mean wide stance from the back.
 
It handles so much better too, the quattros handle brilliant anyway but it is even more planted now in the corners.
I wanted genuine audi wheels in the hope they are stronger than the cheap wheels that crack and buckle when you hit a pot hole.

I got these with ok tyres for £140 ! result.
