hi mate
you have taken the plunge then! my wheel deal fell through but still looking for a set of wheels
so mine will be for sale soon ,but let the mrs have the car the weekend now all four have curb rash!!!! :keule:
but i dont think you will need spacers in fact i think a et of 32 might be a bit low and stick out from your arches abit
i,m sure someone will put you right on here shortly
good luck and get some pic,s up so we can see how things turn out

hi mate, you think et32 will rub then?
what size were your wheels/tyres and was your car lowered?

my wheels are front 8.5 x19 tyres are 235 35 19 et38 rears are 9.5 tyres are 255 30 19 et 40

and i,m lowered on eibach 50/40 springs

i can take some close up pics in the morning if this will help you

i found these pictures on another thread
19x8.5 ET 32 wrapped in 235/35ZR19XL

well mate i hope thats correct because i,m looking at a set

of a5 19,s with a et of 32 but i was a bit worried they would,nt fit

so i hope someone can confirm they will be fine for you

me too!!!
as i have already ordered and paid for them!!
lol
i ordered them from a company called rimstyle,i spoke with them on the phone this morning and the guy did say they would fit.

Wouldnt have thought you'll have any rubbing issues.

I run ET35's with a bigger drop than the 50/40 with no rubbing issues.

As for spacers - depends what look you're going for - but ET32 is gonna sit pretty flush and perhaps poke a little, so personally, wouldnt have thought you'd need spacers.

Best to wait and see when they are on the car and decided then whether you want them to sit even further out.

wheels and front springs fitted tonight, been out for a road test and no rubbing,it was only me in the car but i did try very hard to make it bottom out and rub over speed bumps and on full lock etc.Going to fit the rear springs tomorrow and i will get some pictures up over the weekend.

hi mate

sorry forgot to put up the pics for you

i think they look great need some better pics though

what size tyres did you run with & what make?

Hello mate,no worries about the pictures
I will try and get some better pictures over the weekend
iphone camera is crap,the tyres are falkens fk453 235 35 19

ok i assumed you was going for a staggered set up

i am thinking of keeping mine now but changing the tyres on the rears

to 255/35 /19 9.5 instead of the 255/30 /19 the low profile is a little harsh

but worried i might get some rubbing when loaded

I thought about the staggered but the decided not to
especially as I was going et32.I haven't fitted the rear springs yet but it's gonna be very tight
if your et is 35 255 tyre could be to much???

that,s my worry

my et if i remember right on the rear was either 38 or 40 so i,m hoping to just get away with it

and the wheels filling the arch up

what do you think?

my et is 32 so if yours is 38 thats 6mm difference (if i understand this et stuff???)
my tyres are 235 and yours will be 255.
i would say my wheels are slightly proud of the arch so i guess it depends how low you are or how often you drive the car loaded
I know the pictures i attached are crap but have a good look and bear in mind that i haven't fitted the rear spring yet.

heres a couple of pics i will get some close ups in the morn
as you can see still seems plenty of room

some close ups would be good, but looking at those pictures you might just get away with it.

if i remember after the drop had settled i put a tape measure on from floor to top of the arch was 24 and a half

so if you drop yours and your are a s line your drop will be about 20cm so looking at your pics you should be
perfect with your wheels

but my arches seem to look like they need filling in a bit more

now weather the rear tyre change will do it or would you say it might need soom spacers?

buy the tyres and fit them then if you are still not happy you could measure up and work out what spacers you need.
the worst case is you buy your tyres and they rub (but i dont think they will).

Rear springs now fitted, still no rubbing.
I will get some pictures up over the weekend.

thats good news

looking forward to seeing the pics

hi laruk your wheels look great they really suit your motor
have the springs settled yet and are you getting any rubbing now they have been on a few days?

Yes mate, front springs have been on about a week and rear springs have been on about 5 days .
There is no rubbing from the front but I think there is a very very slight rub from the back,
but only when trying hard over the speed bumps although I haven't had and rear seat passengers yet.
There are no marks on the back tyre walls so I think maybe it's just catching the arch liners.

all good then mate well done

i will give mine a few days and see how they are

still having doubts about keeping them though

those tyres have filler the arches up nicely!!!
was your suspension lowered or not?
