Apologies for not being about to comment and interact with many of you. Things have got a little bit hectic with the wife and the imminent birth of our first child.

Just like to wish you all the best for collection of your new Audis. I reflect upon my collection date back at the end of May and the 6250 miles I have racked up and the pleasure I have had from driving the Sportback. A little sad that my '13 plate will not be the newest on the road but I am happy to hand over the batton to many of you.

Hopefully I will get to see several of you at the meet that was being arranged. Just got to locate the thread and get an update. Just hope the baby makes an arrival before the meet.

I'm picking up an A3 Sportback S-Line 1.4 TFSI, Daytona Grey, Comfort Pack, Interior Lighting Pack, SD Nav, Euro Plates and Tyre Monitor.

Best wishes for the arrival of the little 'un. I have had to defer the planned meet for a couple of weeks, was going to be the 8th, likely to be towards back end of September but will try to get in place whilst the weather is still likely to be good.

If the baby has not arrived by Sunday and you want to rack up some more miles myself and A3sportbackMark are meeting over at Richings Park golf Club (Richings Park :: Richings Park Golf Club - close to Heathrow & Slough) near Heathrow airport around 11.45 - 12.00 once we hve picked up our cars.
 
Guys, tomorrows coundown music will be in the evening. Im off to the scottish meet and will be out all day. :) x

Nearly 9 weeks since I signed the order and still not heard a thing, to be totally honest we did say we were not fussed about the 1st September..................But we did mean this year and not September 2014.


My 8P needs tax at the end of September and MOT at the end of October so will let the date of first registrations go by as they will be busy busy and give them a bell about the 4th.

Jeez 9 weeks! Mine has only been 12 weeks from order to collection!

Hi, tfsi, order to collection seams to be coming down all the time according to my local dealer,
I was quoted 5 1/2 months (23 weeks ish ) when i asked in June.
i ordered 10th of August got build week (45) about 2 weeks later when i popped i sort sort something else and am collecting end of November which is about 14 weeks ish in all, others seam to be getting similar times, but I know they can vary a lot.
My salesman checked whilst I was there and it took him a couple of mins to check the Audi system, so he could probably do it while you are on the phone. 9 weeks and not hear anything is not good customer service, so I'd give him a call as its a lot of money too spend and it's not unreasonable to ask him to check.

Here goes then as requested 10:00 pick up...A3 Sportback 2.0 TDi. Glacier white, Pan roof, privacy glass, comfort pack, rear parking sensors, de badged , interior light pack , some other bits and bobs I can't remember but might be part of one of the packs lol, ie aqoustic glass ???

i see you are from sleaford, I spent my childhood in Lincoln, regularly going to sleaford to see my cousins.

Ha ha, working on it, I did a review on sport suspension on Wednesday and when I read it back later I had put "I had great fun down the back lanes" everyone is going to think I am a fully paid up member of the Stan Collymore nocturnal rural appreciation club! :photo:

For most of you 1 more sleep to go ;) but for a couple of us "The Midnight Club" today's the day :D VooDoo whats the dealer got in store for you tonight and what time is it all kicking off? RUP when is it getting delivered? We want pics when it arrives ;)

Funnily enough, Sleaford is the first place I'm heading with my new car tomorrow (well, RAF Cranwell!)
 
Yea, feeling quiet relaxed at the moment.

Just given the current A3 SB a final clean out and dusting after giving it a thorough final wash last week, feel quiet sad in a way as it has been a great car with no problems or niggles in. 3.5 years, except for the occasional squeak from the anti roll bar linkage which the dealer always sorted, thinks hey only ever oiled it up a bit but thats another story.

Bit longer for me to wait catluyna as you have had your last sleep already. I think today might drag a little as only so much pottering around you can do, as its only nearly 10 and car clearing out is down.......10am..........less than 24 hours now:yes:
 
Good luck to the midnight club, the rest of us will be......errr, tucked up in bed sleeping?

This feels like a graduation ceremony, each with our solitary collection of award, maybe we should be called "the class of 63"

Nice spec :) would have loved to go for Quattro but budget just wouldn't stretch. But looking forward to the 1.8 drive ;)
