00470 Fault Code - Help required please

Hi All,

ive just fitted a genuine towbar loom to my A3 this afternoon, since connecting it and enabling in the Can Gateway #69 Trailer, I now have the below fault showing....

i haven't changed any other parameters other than enabling #69 Trailer

any ideas as to what I've done wrong?

00470 - Combination comfort Databus in Single Wire: Open Circuit


Possible Symptoms
Data Bus Comfort working in Single-Wire Mode

Possible Causes
Wiring/Connectors from/to Control Modules
Control Module in CAN Data Bus Comfort faulty

Possible Solutions
Check Measuring Value Blocks (MVB)
Check Wiring/Connectors from/to Control Modules
 
1 of the canbus wires isn't connected properly or at all, hence single wire error.
 
u can check ecu measuring blocks around 125 and maybe up and down a few to see if anything shows up, no number is not installed, 1 is working 0 is failed connection iirc.
 
Just check your wiring for now.
 
Ok, checked wiring tonight and all appears to be in order, I connected the two can bus wires to the back of block "G" using Scotch locks, its wired exactly the same as it was on my 2007 A3?

I have attached the below screen shots to try and give you some info, I'm not an expert with VCDS and don't really know how to use it for things like this.





 
Scotch locks are shxt, do it properly & solder :)
 
As I said remove scotch locks & test wound around the wires directly, as scotch locks are crap & don't connect very well at times, I never use them.
