I am new to the Audi brand having prev been into my golf's, been looking at a A3 2.0 tfsi and it was looking ok but when i went to view it it had been sat for a while so the battery was flat think this was due to the boot not being shut properly as when the battery booster went on it there was a chiming on start up. anyways the dash has both the ESP and steering wheel warning lights lit up. could these be genuine faults or a result of the battery being flat previously, importantly can the garage acknowledge them and delete the warnings without fixing the issues if any?

Drive it for a few hundred yards they should go out if not you have an issue.

cool, thanks for the replies. I was a bit concerned but as it was tucked away I couldn't drive it so going back tomorrow for a test drive.
