Is that it?! A bit of black trim around the grill and windows? I thought this would open up more wheel options etc... at least the 5 arm rotor wheels like it does on most other Audis.

Even throw in the privacy glass with it as well instead of having to pay for that also.

I think you guys are confusing the black styling pack with a black edition. The 8P A/S3's had the black styling pack from about 2007 but the black edition didn't along until much later. Look where it is on the configurator, it's an option not a trim level ...
i've also been patiently awaiting the black edition, but i think the styling pack is a bit of a red herring,maybe the BE trim will be out later this year with the privacy glass, styling pack, stereo upgrade (maybe!) and black matt rotors (currently available everywhere but UK), in theory the BE trim should be better value than specing the options individually, but maybe there will be a a few more options added as standard to the new trim.. all speculation! here is link to old A3 BE spec - LINK

Thank God for that. Looking at the new S3 that chrome around the windows and on the grille needs to go! Looks awful IMO.
