Bose speakers in S3

Ive just bought my 8l S3,and it has the Bose system in it,with the sub.The speakers are sounding a bit tired!Has anyone upgraded the speakers from the Bose ones,and could offer me any suggestions?

Yes people have & usually swapped amp out aswell, but iirc if doing just speakers, you need to make sure they're 2 ohm not 4.

standard speakers are 2 ohm impedance but aftermarket ones are usually closer to 4 ohms
aftermarket brands wise i would look at

hertz , focal , rainbow , jl audio

you may have to check the depth of the standard speakers to make sure whichever new ones you intedn to fit will be o.k depth wise and not interfere with the window mechanism

std speaker sizes for fronts are 5.25 inch ... 5.1/4"
maximum depth is either 52mm or 54mm from memory
