Hi, i'm Tom from Kent, thought i better say high as i've been glued to this forum for the last 2 days since i got my Audi

The mod bug has bitten again and now for my - A3 s-line Black 3dr 2.0TDi 140 with satnav / bose

my plans are:

Parrot MKI9200 install
Remap - Any recommendations around kent/essex?
cupra splitter
FK Black Grill
SP3 rear lights
Spacers
RE do window tints
Refurb Alloys
Possible Coil overs
Pressed custom plates

I want to keep it kind of stealth and simple so any more ideas?

Also do you guys do any monthly meets or anything i could come to for tips and ideas?

Ill get some pics up soon

Tom

Hi Tom,

Welcome to the forum mate. I'm in Kent myself and there a couple of forum members not too far away that can help out with mods. Ash187 and NHN for example.

As for the remap, AmD Essex may be your nearest, which is near Ikea in Lakeside although there are obviously other very reputable tuners that visit this forum that might be near. I've used them for servicing and emailed them about various things and their customer service is good. I'm also booked in for some *ahem* enhancements this Monday :)

Lepsons is your obvious choice in Kent for wheel refurbs but their very good rep commands higher prices. A cheaper, but very good alternative is Inspraytion in Rochester. I recently had my wheels refurbed in dark anthracite and they are very tidy. It was a good price too as they were doing a discount on anthracite that month. It changes each month so keep an eye on the website for deals.

Anyway, there's plenty of very useful, friendly and helpful members on here, so ask away and enjoy your motor mate.

All the best,

Paul.

Welcome to the forum.

If you're in the Kent area and looking for remapping or any sort of work then I'd go to AMDTuning at Lakeside.

They've done all of the work on my car to a very high standard and they get my vote every time.

Hi Tom, welcome to audi-sport.net. Any pics of the car? For local meets, click the link in my signature. Enjoy the forum. :) x

Cheers guys ive had a look at AMD Tuning and they seem really good... But wow £600 for a remap? I spose you get what you pay for or is that just expensive?

Might se if they do some kind of multi car discount as well as ive got 2 friends also looking for a remap :D

Its cool theres theres some gurus from kent incase i get stuck! lol

You do an extent get what you pay for,but they often have offers on their products,so it's worth giving Ben a call an seeing what they can do for you.

If you have a couple of mates looking for the same, then I'd be surprised if they can't do something.

I'd say they're one of the 2 best tuning companies I've used for my cars over the years, the other being a very similar sort of operation, running a privateer touring car team, and various other racing efforts.
Running a race team brings an extra level of expertise and care in building cars and engines, and as an example, mine runs around twice the power of a stock S3,and has never missed a beat since the work was started.

Hi Tom, I am in Wateringbury. I had mine remapped by citreon garage in larkfield that is superchip installer. This was straight flash I am sure I paid just shy of £300 and have never looked back!!

You sure Tom? It's £400 for a stage 1 on their site for a 140 TDI. £600 including a DPF delete. Where did you get £600 from mate?

Sorry mate yeh I thought the dpf removal had to be done at the same time as a remap? If i could maybe get some discount I'd probably got with them as they have had really good reviews. I still want the engine to last though, my last remap ruined my car so I need to get this one done properly lol
