A3 3.2 V6 DSG

Strange why no-one has even enquired. The ad is good, informative, straight to the point and NO waffle. Its got good spec which buyers are after and its low mileage which is a bonus. I would say the only reason is that its a 3.2 and expensive to run. Fingers crossed you sell it soon. :icon_thumright:

Nice car and good spec, fair price too IMO. Surprised you've had no enquires, I'm guessing you have it advertised elsewhere right?

I'm guessing it's main appeal is to people who are looking specifically for a 3.2 - i know when i was looking i'd set my heart on buying a 3.2 quattro and didn't settle until i'd found the best one available for only slightly more than my original budget(!)

No not yet - i realise there's a limited audience on this forum but it's probably specialist enough to appeal to those wanting a 3.2

Hopefully i'll get round to advertising it elsewhere in the next few days and will also get some pics more added soon to see if that helps

I've added more photos and updated the spec a bit to include electric seats and through load rear centre armrest hatch for carrying skis - no idea why the previous owner had specced this option!

Get some semi-professional pics, where else have you advertised this? Try pistonheads only like £10 or so.

Fair point - have added some better pics using my DSLR rather than the iphone!

EML is on on pic 3...maybe remove that pic!

Didn't know what you meant at first but now i've seen it i see what you mean!
It's only on because i'd turned the key in the ignition to show the sat nav and hadn't actually started the engine

Car looks in very good nick, good pics and good overall advert IMO.

I'd get it advertised elsewhere as well as on here though. Pistonheads, Autotrader and eBay are all good calls.

I think its a good ad with lots of information but I'm seeing loads of <br>'s all over the show which is horrible to read through.

That said, if I was looking at buying one, I doubt this would be a reason for not contacting you.

Do people prefer manual over DSG? I know when I was buying mine, I specifically wanted manual so maybe this narrows you're already limited audience.

Pics look ok to me but maybe go for more shots further back so people can see all sides and panels and a better shot of the interior.

I'm being really nit picky and I'm frankly surprised you've not had any contact.

Price seems about right versus pistonheads given the age and mileage so can only really presume not enough eyes are seeing it.

I agree with the above, get it on pistonheads and I reckon you'll be getting some calls.

Thanks for all the great feedback - really appreciated

I've got rid of the <br>s - no idea how they got in there when all i was doing was updating pics. They are annoying and make the text difficult to read.

I'm in no great hurry to sell as i've not found my next car yet and am also pretty busy at the moment but when I do find the right car to buy i'll start to sell it elsewhere also. I'd also like to sell it to an enthusiast / someone who understands just what a quality car it is.

The DSG is absolutely phenomenal. I would love to get another one - it is super quick and is so smooth it feels like one long gear. It changes down when it should and once you're used to it you can select which gear to change down to with how hard you press your foot on the accelerator.
Passengers are amazed at how good it really is - i seriously couldn't speak any higher of it. It's also worth pointing out that you can change the gears with the paddles or the gear 'stick' with the plus or minus and it's quicker than the manual

Good sales patter mate, I'm not buying it though

In all seriousness, good luck with the sale and think its cool you want it to go to a good home where it'll be loved and appreciated.
