First Audi! - 31st of this Month

Very close now, cannot wait!!

This will be my first Audi, and second car. I'm upgrading from a 1.4 Vauxhall Corsa (Petrol) to the A3 2.0TDI S-Line. Quite an upgrade!!

I've gone for Glacier White with Cruise Control. I am beyond excited! Haven't seen many Glacier White pics up here yet but will be sure to get some up when the car is delivered! Had to start looking for cars around November time last year to get an idea of what I wanted and it had to be the A3. I've been waiting since then in order for my current lease to expire on the Corsa and take delivery of the A3.

It cannot come any quicker!!

Lol welcome mate. Vauxhall are so **** compared to Audi its unreal. You wont look back now mate. Welcome to the premium level of motoring!
 
My A3 is my first Audi too, though I do remember my Dad having an A4 Avant when I was a kid. It must have been nice, it's the only one I remember, his other cars just being cars!!!
You will love it, I am so pleased with mine. Not long to wait

Tell me about it! I've had so many problems with my Corsa, clutch going, air vents snapping, glove box broken, fog lights going and my mate has had nearly all of the same problems. Not been a fan and I'm sure you're right will not be looking back at all! :)
 
Not long now then, I'm in the same boat as you, mine not expected until aug.
I've read on this forum that everyone is excited when it happens and for many months afterwards!

Can one of the mods change vauxhall to the banned word list please! (V***hall) or something similar will do :)

id rather push a 1988 318i BMW with a blown head gasket than drive a new corsa!

I bet you are really looking forward to you new car. Im the same as you, 1st ever Audi. Enjoy.
 
VERY Excited indeed Mark. Hoping for an early delivery, going to be a long day of waiting at work!
 
Delivery Today! Between 11 & 11.30am. Can't wait to take it out for a spin!

Enjoy!!!!! you are in the right part of the world for the 1st September New A3 s-line in Daytona M25/A12 cruise....but as you are the wrong colour you will have to be at the back of the field :yes:

not sure waht part of Herts you are in but Will look out for you on the way home from work

haha oh Damn... I'm in Letchworth (nr to Stevenage) but will be a short drive home for me unfortunately! Plenty of driving after work though I think!

Well if you fancy a detour along the A602 and then South down the A10 around 4.30 - 5.00 I might see you, that said if you head North on the A10 from the A602 you hit a great stretch of open/straight road up to the A120 Stansted turn-off, perfect for cruise control, set witihin legal limts of course
 
Funny enough I've got an Airport run to do tomorrow to pick up my Brother from Stansted!!

It's arrived by the way! It's ****** beautiful. I'm in love...

Car looks good (he says with pangs on jealousy), have a grea day in it and enjoy that stretch of A10 on the way and ron the return from Stansted.

R8 experience day for me tomorrow to soften the blow of another 90+ days waiting
 
Well what can I say!!! I've had it a week now and absolutely love it. The drive is brilliant, it is a heck of a lot smoother than the corsa but then it was always going to be. Much, much faster too! ;-) I'm driving up to York today after work so that will be a good test for it but the cruise control system I'm a big fan of so that will be being used the whole drive up.

Car looks stunning! I have a couple of months to go and am getting seriously jittery. How are you finding the Handbrake???

Thanks mate! Yes the wait is horrible but as you'd expect ****** worth it! Not too bad actually I'm getting used to it already, no HB turns for me though ;)
