Hi again guys,

So today I had a phone call from Orange Wheels, who phoned to give me details and pricing on my desired A3. They have said that a dealer in the midlands will do the car for £21,495 (OTR) which is £2030 cheaper than the list price on the Audi configurator, which comes out at £23,525 (OTR). The car spec is as follows;

Sport 1.2 TFSI
Glacier white
Black-Silver rallye cloth
17" 5-arm kinetic alloy wheels
Deselect sports suspension
Non smoking package
Advanced key
Hill assist
Comfort package (cruise control - acoustic parking system - light/rain sensors - auto dimming rear view mirror - acoustic glass)
Door mirrors (electrically adjustable, folding and heated)
Technology package
Xenon light package

The above car would be on a PCP contract (6.3% APR), with an initial deposit of £4,000;

3 years = 35 x £270 monthly
4 years = 47 x £230 monthly

I would just like some opinions/verdicts whether you think this deal could be beaten, my initial feeling from emailing and phoning dealers is.... no lol? £2030 off the list seems pretty good in my eyes..? Apologies if already asked but has anyone done a deal through orange wheels before and would recommend them?

Any help will be much appreciated once again, cheers :)

I can't say I have had any personal experience but I have read several posts that suggest 6-7% is what people are getting off the list price, your offer is closer to 10% which isn't too shabby.

I got a very similar deal through drivethedeal, roughly 10% (£2k) discount. Most the dealers were offering was free Sat Nav at £500!

From reading the forum delivery seems to be quick as well - ordered beginning of April and the card is being built this week - roughly about 8 weeks

yeah Liverpool Audi only want to discount the car by £500 max, currently waiting for Warrington and Manchester to come back to me. Its looking like a no brainer using a broker though. Did you go ahead using drivethedeal? What car + spec did you chose? And have you had an easy experience using them?

I got 7% off a pretty highly specced car, worked out at about £2200 discount in the end

I actually ended up beating all the online brokers doing a deal with my local dealer so pretty happy with that

Hi,

I'm new to this forum but we work in the car leasing sector. Just wanted to help by advising that this offer is excellent. As a fleet company you are normally doing very well to get up to a 7% discount, so for the size of discount that you are being offered, its a very good deal.

I will watch this thread with interest, as the brokers do seem to get better deals, but naturally a little wary of not dealing face to face!. Please let us know how you get on and how the transaction with orangewheels goes.I suppose it depends on how well you negotiate, and whether the dealer is prepared to match an online quote or not!

Liverpool audi have said they will match the deal if i can get the quote to them, - unsure as to how i can do this as it is through a broker and i dont know exactly which dealer i am dealing with.. any suggestions?

Yes ordered with Drivethedeal - process was rather smooth. They put us in contact with the dealer, now we deal direct. Its the first time I've used them but it was all rather good. I priced up on Orange Wheels but drivethedeal was marginally cheaper.

Car is 1.4 CoD S-Line with B&O, Comfort Pack and some other bits
