Bought my 09 S3 a year ago, (10,000 miles ago) with 4 brand new toyo 225 40 ZR18 92Y tyres, and they need replacing. Want best rather than cheapest tyres and preferably some with more life in them! Recommendations? ATS have recommended Michelin over Toyo and Pyrelli, but more opinions needed.....

Is it sprint blue with Reg ending FKM!? I sold mine with 4 brand new toyo tyres to a dealer a year ago!?
Michelin PS2's or Conti SC5's.
PS3's are not as good nor are SC2/3's.
Toyo's are crap (well T1R's are anyway) and last no time at all.
Lasted less than 5K on my LCR which wouldn't bother me if they were sh1t hot but they weren't hot at all!
Only ever had P6000 from Pirelli so can't rate any of their other tyres.

+1 for the goodyears! Absolutely fantastic tyre. Get them from camskill at the moment and if you buy 2 you get £20 tesco fuel voucher and if u get 4 £40. Plus they are the cheapest anyway, then take them to a local tyres shop an have them fitted.
Ats euromaster has some affiliation with michelin, they have 30% off and free 50 pound fuel voucher deal on atm. i just ordered 4 michelin ps2 for 486 fitted.

Sounds a good price for x4.... Michelins give a very good life, up to 25k miles in my experience giving them an easyish life.
