Hi would anybody now if there is any upgraded rear axle bushes for 2wd 98 B5? cause i got just normal ones fitted about 8 months ago and they knackered. I would be happy to get solid ones. any help and advice would be helpful.

If you need new bushes get them from GSF, bought mine from them and they were Lemforder ones , identical in every way to the factory Lemforder ones I took out, only about a tenner each IIRC..............shudder at how much Audi would charge for them!

I suspect the previous bushes have been fitted incorrectly, or were chocolate ****e.
They MUST be tightened with the axle at normal running height, ie on the ground with the cars weight on it. If you tighten the bolts with the axle at full droop, they'll destroy themselves in no time.
Get either genuine audi, or proper Lemforder replacements and you should be good for another 10 years.

i didnt put them myself they were changed in decent garage. they look like installed correct but i thing they werent the best quality. I got them in GFS as far as i remember. Ill try to get good quality bushes this time cause labour isnt cheep to get them done.
