Best advice is to drop it down to AMDTuning in Essex.
Rods don't bend until you're over 440lbs of torque with a big turbo kit.
Best clutch currently will be the Sachs if you want to stay with a DMF or the Loba otherwise.
AMD have all of those.
They also get my wholehearted recommendation for everything they've done to mine.

Right last paranoid question before I try and forget about it. I haven't actually driven it since realising it was a milltek system, anything I should look or listen for which might tell me its had the **** thrashed off it? And what are the likely problems I might have if it has been thrashed?

Lol sorry can worry a bit. I was loving it until I realised about the exhaust. Right going to forget it.
I wouldn't say its been thrashed, probably owned by an older enthusiast based on it being a resonated system.
Somebody like myself, being 20, would choose the non res system if i were buying.

I wouldn't worry about whether its been thrashed - if someone wanted to spend £1300 on a milltek exhaust then chances are they took pride in their car,its nicely specc'd too. By all means try to establish what has been done to the car - you could try a friendly letter to the previous owner once you have the V5 back with theri address details.
There's just as much chance a bog stock S3 will have been trashed, so don;t worry about it - you'll never know for sure one way or tother so just get on enjoying the car.

Just because it has an exhaust on it doesn't mean it has been ragged to death...
A full system will be either a sports cat or full decat, the latter meaning it will have had to have been mapped to get rid of a CEL
Either way at some point in the near future get it down to AMD for a health check and RR.
