Fog Surrounds

Hey Guys,

Another noobie S3 question here.

Why are the fog surrounds different on different Audis?

These are the two main types I see. One set look like RS3 surrounds (white), one look similar to my TDI (grey).



I'd like to know which ones are which for when I eventually purchase.

those are both S3s from different years though.
the white S3 is a prefacelift or 8P2 as we call it (2006-2008)
the grey S3 is a facelift model or 8P3 (2008-2012)

silly question here... but will facelift fog light surrounds fit a preflift bumper??
as you may or may not know. my missus hit a fox and smashed my passenger side fog light surround and the only fog light surrounds i have found were facelift one, so in a bit of excitment i ordered them with out checing this out first.

Bu66er..... anyone know where i can find the prefacelift ones exact same as the white one has?? the the Bay but no joy.

these are the ones i have ordered.... i think they are facelift.....

Sorry mate, can't get the pre-facelift fog grilles for any A3/S3. Ash is right, your next option is Audi/TPS.
