Hi,

I've been quoted £100 to fix/wire up the electric lumbar support in my car, in the year I've owned it, I never had the lumbar support working.....

Am I missing out ? Is the electric lumbar support very comfortable ?

Or would it worth paying £100 to have it working ?

Ive never done mine, but the kufatec looms to do them or only about £30 for the pair, cant see it being too difficult a job either

kufatec looms and very easy to fit
i never use the lumbar anyway

I wouldn't be able to wire it myself unfortunately, so will have to cough up the pennies if I want to get it working.

Do you think it is worth it bez101?

to me i wouldnt pay to have it sorted if i didnt have it
but if you think it would be useful then got for it.

My back is fussy so I'd struggle without the lumbar support. Why doesn't yours work?

presumably depends if you are uncomfortable in your lower back when driving . I had it on a passat and thought i couldnt live without it ( bit of a glass back ) . Never had it for a few years now and to be fair i don't really miss it , nice to have but if the seats are good its not a biggy

I mainly use mine on long journeys otherwise most the time it is retracted.

Mines been retracted since I bought the car nearly 6 years ago, mind you the drivers side has since broken typical complaint about the wire frame it snaps but at £100 to replace from Audi I am leaving it till ive got a bit of cash i dont need and then going to replace it.
