that,s a good move had the same springs fitted a few months back
they made the handling and the ride better plus the avant looks loads better
as for getting the modding bug does it ever stop

Looked into loads of different spring/perch combos but opted for these instead of B5 Perches ect......heard alot of good things including that the ride is nicer

got some local guy,s to fit them they quoted me £50.00 for all four corners
so i snapped there hands off, felt a little bit guilty as they said they had a few problems
not sure what they run into i got outer there a bit sharpish
well pleased with them car feels alot better, ride and looks a lot better happy days
i dont think for one minute you will regret it
The S-Line is all ready 20mm lower than a standard A4....So going on that it will be 20mm lower at the rear and 30mm lower at the front.....And it will get rid of the gap at the front as for some reason Audi got it wrong from the factory...
Its to give clearance on full lock and full nose down under braking whilst offering comfort from the spring rates that audi spend millions each year developing. Springs without proper dampers will give a crashy feeling which is why I won't lower my car, I enjoy the ride it provides OEM.

There are no clearance issues with these aftermarket kits and the ride quality actually improves with aftermarket springs in combination with stock shocks. This is speaking from personal experience and from many many reviews (of the A4) on a range of forums
But if you're happy with the OEM ride quality then fair play

After living with my A4 Avant for a few months now i am looking forward to getting the Eibachs fitted as the standard S-Line suspention is very crashy from the factory. Many Many people have said how the eibachs make the car alot nicer to drive.......
I'm looking forward to getting ride of my OEM ride quality too........... in favour of being dumped on its backside on cheap coilovers and 35 profile tyres lol!!
