Now that Crieff is over and was a huge success I am going to organise another meet before the Scottish Car Show at Ingliston as afew peeps have been asking if we can have another one. There are afew venues in mind but going to select one and wait for all the replies so here goes.

Next meet @ Edinburgh Krispy Kreme.
Date & time: 28th April @12:00

Seeing as the location has plenty parking and is accessible from all angles if it is well attended it shall become a regular meet as in every month.

Help I'm having a blonde moment (doesn't happen often) is that the 28th of April or May

Think it will be April coz that's a Sunday and May is a Tuesday.
Yeah I've pencilled that in. Should be a good crack.
Fill up the boot with original glazed for the journey home.

Told you it was a blonde moment - i shoulda checked the days lol - yeah it will be fun and it cant be any colder than it was when we were at Crieff. I'll put in for the day off my work when we confirm.

Right then peeps make the 28th a defo date for the next meet. Edinburgh Krispy Kreme @ 12:00. If the carpark gets too crowded we can move into Hermiston Gait Retail Park. I will amend the list accordingly
 
Phew.........................thank god its staying that date - I put in for the day off already lol
 
Should be good for me, will check I've got no football that weekend tomorrow
 
Aw boo, that'll be about a week before my car gets its mini make over :( still, might be good for me to bring it along in its 'before' form i guess and meet a few folks :)

Without wanting to put a spanner in the works though, I'd imagine actually meeting in the Krispy Kreme car park will be nigh on impossible. It's a small car park and at the weekend there's still queues backing up on to the roundabout.... Just getting one car in to the car park is a pain (I wasn't there yesterday stocking up, honest)......

I did kind of wonder about this as a few of my mates that have been thru said its still heaving especially at weekend...you can always walk across from the retail carpark tho...im no missing out on doughnuts lol
 
Guys it should be ok, as Mark says if it gets too crowded we can move into Hermiston Gait Retail Park,

How about meeting up half hour before it opens up to get a space and a blether before fattening yourselves up??

I'll join you but it will be to count how many you eat - i can't really handle sweet stuff.
 
Just checked opening hours...Monday to Saturday...7am-10pm and Sunday 8am-10pm on their site info. So can't see anyone getting in early before they open,unless these times are wrong?

The times are right but if anyone wants to go earlier then thats fine - the official meet time is 12. So its just personal choice. See you all there

The meet has always been arranged for a 12 midday start so the opening times are irrelevant. Now I went to take the dude (my son Elliot) to Krispy Kreme today and the queue was quite considerable......over the roundabout so it may be the same at the end of the month so just to reiterate....if it is busy, park in the Retail Park carpark opposite and we can go over for some doughnuts.......mmmmm.
 
Don't be using Elliot as an excuse to try before you buy - You just couldn't wait ........................................
 
I take it theres plenty off parking in the retail park??
if its like the park round here, each car will be seperated in different lines, puts a downer on any photo opps.
I wonder if Krispy Kreme deliver??? :uhm:
