Hi folks,

Im wanting to ask if A4 alloys of fitment pcd 5x112 18 x 8J ET 43 would fit ( not perfectly) my A3 BE 18x7.5 ET54 PCD 5x112..?

replys much appreciated

Euan :)

Two things.....

Firstly, the there's also the "bore", to take into account. You that's the size of the hole in the middle of the wheel.
It's important as the wheel needs to sit tight on the hub.

The a3 bore is 57.1mm but I'm not sure of the a4. If it's bigger then you can get adapters but it's important that the wheel sits tight on the hub as it's this connection that takes the strain of suspension movement not the wheel bolts....

Also, if the ET offset is 11mm less, the wheel will sit further out in the wheel arch. It might be ok but you might find the tyres rub....

Yes, they'll fit.

As said, they are slightly wider and a lower offset, but they'll just fill the arches better than your standard wheels.

I have fitted OEM A4 S line (18x8 ET43) on my 8P1 without a problem, recently have had 225/40/18 tyres on it and no problem at all, just saving up to lower the car in near future. But yes they are same fitment as mine so shouldnt be a problem at all.

As said before it will actually fit the a3 and look better! The lower offset will make the wheels sit closer to the arch and more 'flush' but as advised check the centre bore as you may need spigot rings

Euan my dad ran this size on his s3 and when the car was lowered it rubbed on all 4 corners. They will be fine if you don't lower it or if you do you have to remove the inner arch retaining screws.

Has anyone pics of a4 alloys on their 8p a3...?

the wheels im looking at are the genuine audi bbs ch alloys.

They fit but they will look almost like aftermarket wheels (because all the reps sold for A3s/Golfs etc are the same as A4 fitments). It's true the arches get filled a bit better (this is particular for the rear) but the front will probably see some "poke" as the front track isn't too bad as standard.

Sorry for the weird angle this is the only one I have and wheels are off at the moment so can't take any new ones.

Euan here is my dads car with the same wheels on it the front had a little poke and looked stupid to me. Better just get some CHs in the correct offset for the A3

did need spigot rings for these wheels. I think they look a fine size to me

Looking at the set on eBay? I asked the seller about the size of the centre bore and he told me 80mm! Obviously had no idea what he was measuring as I'm pretty sure all a4s were 57.1 (b6/b7) and 66.6 (b8)

Shame the OEM BBSs don't have the Motorsport stamped on the outside, makes them look like cheap reps
