Possible petrol leak

Evening all,

Just got home and noticed a strong smell of petrol coming from the top of the engine. I've removed the engine cover and had a good look around but cannot find anything. I haven't noticed any drop in fuel consumption.

Any ideas guys.? Anyone else had this. I suspect this is the start of a problem.

My car is a 1999 1.8 T Sport.

I had a fuel leak recently coming from a pipe which exits from behind the drivers side wheel, level with the sill.I think this is connected with the emissions/charcoal canister but I didn't investigate it fully and it's not leaked since. May be worth a look.
