Seen as though the last meet was great. I thought I'd test the water to see who's up for the next one and where do you fancy going? ..

I'm not sure in a date just yet as am going to Texas working next week so hopefully when I get back.? Where do you fancy a ride out to this time?

Why not Easter Sunday, You on your egg hunt that day? :)

id rather wait till pay day again if possible, my car just drank the diesel the other day like :(

yep! lol i work at weekends and easter is a busy time for me
 
Ok is everyone ok with Sunday the 24th march?. If so where you fancy going then?. I'm thinking meet up at the same location as last time (Durham services) then we can decide from there where to go :)
 
ok so has anybody thought of anywhere we can go?. I've thought of a few places but it all depends how far people are willing to travel.. Like we could go up to holy island and stop off at seahouses for fish and chips. Or we could go up to kielder Forrest for the day.. Or even a ride down to Whitby?. What you guys think?.
 
all sounds good. you don't mind me tagging along new to the forum ? as for the distance traveling that day please bear in mind I get 18-23 mpg if im nice and granny shift 2k rpm. not like all you oil burners miss my pd130 when it comes to long distance..
 
anyway I just checked and all thos destinations are 60 miles or so away so doable for me as long we meet say -11am ish drive down get some lunch before the race home?

haha you must be running some serious power to be only getting that mpg! Yeah your more than welcome to come along I'm only new too only bin to one meet.. Just need everyone to decide on where they want to do really

Your car must be either broken or you have left the handbrake on if your driving like a granny and still getting fuel consumption as low as that lol

Its surely got to be better once your moving than that?

Oh the joys of the 20v turbo, glad i didn't buy either of mine to be economical.
 
I'd be sick only getting that amount of mpg espically the miles I do a week haha! So back to the subject has anyone got any preference to where they'd like to go?.
 
If you end up around Whitby I'd join you for awhile and theres a lad in a pub down the road who has a 2007 RS4 but I don't think hes on this forum. I'm working too or I would just travel wherever. Its just a thought or an idea for next time.

My DIS says my average is 17.7mpg so its improved slightly!
 
Hmm decisions, decisions.. Ill go wherever to be honest but i do like the sound of a ride to holy island (providing the tide times are right) then down to seahouses..

@audidriver79 - 17.9 mpg.. I'd cry everytime I saw that haha
 
If I wanted an economical car I'd buy a Prius but I'm Audi mad and every time I get in that car I know I made the decision.... right after I visit the Shell garage for some V Power....

Anyway if your ever this way I will meet you all. I will try and get to the VAG meeting mentioned on here too as Wednesday is a better day for me.
 
Yeah I don't see why birtley services can be a problem. We could even make it the main meet point if that's easier for everyone?.
 
Right.. What's the an people are we going ahead with a meet this Sunday or we not bothering?
 
not looking like many are going. we shall do another day to try and get more people to come?
 
I know it's not looking very good is it. I'm away for the next two weeks with work that's why I was hopin for this Sunday
 
Hi guys well what. Do you think maybe cancel this Sunday if we get the snow make it for the middle of next month give people plenty time to sort a weekend for all to come
