Just been told by the Leasing company that my 1.6 TDI sportback sport is due at the stealership any day so looks like I could be in the driving seat by next week !! Great news as I was expecting a May ish delivery date so will keep you posted,

Can I ask who the leasing company is, who is the supplying dealer and what's the spec?

I ordered mine back in November and am being told June by my company's leasing firm...!
 
I ordered mine in nov and got a build week of 13 and my order went in on the day the order books opened for the 1.6tdi SB?

seems a bit weird yours would be delivered before SB's are even released too?

Im just jealous, lol.
 
Sounds good...great news to get it earlier than first thought.

Waiting on my own SB being delivered in March but I wonder if they will release the car to you prior to the UK launch on 16/17 or are you based out with UK?
 
They shouldn't release it before the 16th, but our own lease company at work jumped the gun on the 3 door last year and released theirs 2 weeks early - I don't think Audi were very impressed.

I'm jealous! I ordered my 3 door on Nov 1st and all I've heard is 'early March' delivery... hope early means early!
 
There was a mix up with my order and apparently a fax was not received or my order would have been in mid December! Could have had it in a few weeks! Ah well hopefully will still get it before June!
 
Good news for you, just had an e.mail for build date so hope mine will be ready end of April.

I have a build date of w/c 4.3.12 (next week!) and delivery of first or second week of April!

so strange with all the varied dates! Is this a normal occurrence between different dealerships?
 
Ordered mine 10th Feb with Leicester Audi and have build week 12 (wc 18.03.13)!! Hoping to take deliver early/mid April.

I've ordered 2.0tdi sportback s-line, Daytona grey, comfort pack, privacy glass, through load....can't wait!!!!

also told this by my dealer today, who subsequently realized its before official launch date so I'd have to wait till the 18th!
 
As I understand it, some dealers order cars under the name of the company owner and when a sale is made simply change the details and spec with Audi resulting in the customer waiting less.
 
Have now got photo's even has new 13 reg plate fitted . Will try to post tonight
 
Good news , bad news .

Good news is that I have added a photo to my thingy under my name. Bad news is that I to am told to wait to the 18th March so another few weeks which is a bit of a bummer but I will still be getting it well before my expected date

Trying to work how to do photo's , seems a lot of hassle . I have them on my iPad but that's about it so trying to work out how to get one on the page
 
audi upgrades
It is lovely Chester, I can't wait to see mine but it won't be here till May :(

I went for this colour as it was standard and my company would not let me spend any more . It is the sport with standard wheels
 
Looks really good.

I've gone for the Sport 1.4 in Amalfi White with the same wheels, so great to see now what it will look like. Can't Wait!!
 
That's a very good point. I was told by Audi UK that cosmetic silver rails came as standard on the SB, but you could upgrade to load carrying rails in silver or black for an additional £250.

I can't see either in the pic above :S

Yes sorry i meant the silver rails, certainly hope they come on mine
 
I know early media revews suggested roof rails were standard but uk brochures showed them as a £225 cost option

I asked the dealer when ordering mine and he shared his info sheet with me and there was no reference to roof rails as standard

Yeah, I saw the same confusing press release and my dealer wasn't sure - so I called Audi UK to clarify in December. Looks like they may have mis-informed me...... That's annoying because I would probably have paid the extra as I liked the look of them.

Oh well....
 
I have ordered S-line, but they only appeared as £225 option in the list. Will find out in a few days as I think my car is probably with the dealer by now.
 
There was a review on you tube by an irish fella who seemed to think the Irish spec SB cars got roof rails on SE models and above.

No idea if true so it depend where you are as to the spec delivered.

I posted the you tube video a week or two back so there is a three for it
