Emission Control Light on less than 500 miles after injector recall

Andy - I had an brand new inlet manifold on mine, I actually saw it and there were about 2 and 1/2 flaps missing! plus looked all knackered one end...it made no difference what so ever, they did a smoke test and it was leaking for sure but the car and DPF issues were still there, I really do feel for you mate as remember so many times thinking I just want it sorted.

Glen - I believe this is pretty much what Max had happen, maybe you can confirm Max? but if the car was fine before they got their stinking hands on it then I would put it all back on them to sor! Its good Audi UK were helpful, when ever I had spoken to them or VW UK they had been great in giving me information about cars I was thinking of buying and their history, but as soon as I spoke to them about the plethora of faults mine had it was...goodbye n ****** ya!

Same as me all helpful till now (they want money) now the favourite saying "I appreciate what your saying sir but" a big but I think. I ain't paying for nothing buying myself a cheap runaround ( 99 plate a3 1.8t only 90k on clock for £550) but will be taking it further. I've got the finance company involved who owns the car. Just not sure of where to go from here back to vosa or watchdog?? I emailed the main man at Audi uk so see what will come of that!! Got that from another forum so if anyone wants that will gladly pass it on
thanks mate

They kept telling me they can only advise a dealer on what to do or pay for but I dont think that is the case as have read on here where UK have told dealers to sort it.

Yup good idea, how long have you had the car mate?

Its a pi55 take the amount of threads about problems after recall there are on the net but they wont ackoweledge an issue...yet.

I was working in the trade in 2009 and we were almost weekly sending VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda in for injector faults, then now they have picked up there is an issue, but still cannot grasp it is causing even more problems.

Had the car 13 months and done 12k without any problems. Had it serviced in November and not a single problem till this. I got told by Audi Manchester "we don't take any notice of forums it's like doing your washing in public) what a load of cr*p. My response was " you might not but I do" far to many people with the same problems. I think the rising oil level has f*cked up the dpf but they won't admit anything. Jokers

Exactly what happened to mine, diesel in the oil by a large amount (you could see it rising up the dipstick daily), ended up taking out the turbo which Audi then paid for.

No joy from audi or audi uk. Quoted me £1950 but said they will do it for £1300 (not charge for labour).. Been quoted £500 from a tunning company in Stockport to check all injectors are seated and re-seal them again , make sure the tolerances are all ok then remove the internals of the dpf and remap it to 205+bhp. Thinking this is the way to go...
