Should I black out the grills or leave them as chrome, going on this photo.

My car is currently 50:50 and cant decide........might leave it like it lol:

100% yes :D But that's only because I want to black out all my own chrome. I much prefer the blacked out look.

I like it as chrome mate, some colours look better with some don't. :). Just my opinion though! ;)

I think on a lighter car the blacked out look works better. My car is black and I don't think it would look right with blacked out grilles

I might use some black electrical tape to do a quick wrap.......then see how it could look like before putting the effort into doing it properly I think.

That's what I did, used some 50mm tape and it only takes a few mins.

It will look great black.

Black, and I have an S-Line OEM black grill coming off my car tomorrow! ;-)

what you got round the windows, chrome or rubber? I personally think they all need to match whatever way you go, I personally prefer all black if you want an opinion.

Black out but do the chrome round the windows aswell

Agree about doing the windows surrounds also. I'm tempted to do mine without telling the wife and see if she notices. For someone with great design taste the chrome is her Achilles heel ha!

I like the chrome round the windows so that is staying :)

Will have a play with the grill and see

On my B7 cab, I have blacked out the grill but have Brushed steel Windscreen pillars and chrome window trims. I love the black grill. Makes the car look newer and modern in my opinion

Blacked out. Done my car, it's the same colour as yours. Wondered if I should do mine but glad I did, looks 100x better in my opinion,

Black the grill surround but not the audi badge I'm not sure about that

On a dark colour I like the black out but don't you think the grill looks really large all black on a light coloured car.

Going by photos the chrome seem to keep the grill in proportion..........it's going to be one of those try it yourself situations.

Cheers for all the viewpoints.

I like the blacked out grilles, they are available black from the factory also.

I have sprayed mine satin black, the car is dark blue (moro) and it's an improvement, I also have the black window trim so it's all the same now

Well i found some time to carbon wrap the upper and lower grills as gloss black looked too hard on Akoya.

I think with the blacked out headlights the carbon wrap works

Deffinitely the best choice, like it!
Re badges has anyone done a brushed silver style Audi four rings, been thinjking about it but I think it will be difficult to pull off. I have Avus Silver and I think black badges are too much, carbon possibly brushed silver mmmmmmm....... Would also keep the cotrast between light and dark, rather than have the car light and everything else dark.
