New baby

My girlfriend gave birth to our beautiful baby boy at 6:01 yesterday morning. I'm really happy :)

They are both doing great thanks. She was in labour for 4 days then she kept loosing concioness and baby's heart beat slowed right down and all the midwives seemed to vanish as they had a few other emergencies so was pretty scary. Would have lost him if I didn't notice, was pretty scary with no one around luckily a midwife heard me shouting then she was rushed into theatre for an emergency C section but luckily both are well and will hopefully be home soon :)
 
I will post some pics soon. I've been meaning to post some pics of my car since I joined but need to get round to signing up to a picture hosting site. Might do that in a bit after I've put the washing on lol
 
Congrats. Don't forget to wet the baby's head.

Thanks, I'm sure I won't forget to wet the baby's head lol. His name is Elliott. I think he wants to come to AITP 2013 to say hello to you all.
 
Thats a cool name. My boys name is Elliot but with 1 T and hes a petrol head like his dad. He attended 2 of the Audi meets with me as he loves checking out other Audis. Enjoy fatherhood mate.
 
Cool name, now you can all embrace the new changes in your lives. Make sure you look after the missus, shell need all your love and support (don't worry you'll have your life back in about 5 years the lol)
 
Congratulations! I hope everyone is well. Sounds like you had one hell of a labour. My girlfriend had to be induced 2 weeks early as she was diagnosed with Obstetric Cholestasis - she went to see the midwife to get her blood results as she was showing signs of OC (lots of itching) and I got the phone call whilst I was at work "I'm being induced this Sunday!!!" (it was a Thursday). Panic set in as the little one's due date was 10/11/12 and I thought we had loads of time left - it was only the end of October!

I had a little girl 8 weeks back and it's been the most exhausting but rewarding 8 weeks of my life. Enjoy yourself! :thumbsup:
 
Im glad everything is ok. That must have been a terrifying time for you both. You will soon forget that though. I love the name, we will need to get him signed on here as our youngest member. If you have trouble posting pics, just pm them over and i will upload them for you. I cant wait to see them. :) x x
 
Thanks for all your kind words. I've been running on adrenalin the last few days and think its just worn off. Going to finish this load of washing then pour a large glass off red and enjoy what will probably be my last good nights sleep for a while :)

Someone earlier said you'd get your life back in about five years. I can only assume the poster was using Tapatalk, because he obviously meant to write twenty five!
 
Congrats mate, bet you are over the moon, glad all are ok now, i bet that was a fright for ya!

Luckily it all worked out in the end hey :)
