That is actually the tyre size, not the wheel size.

Are they Audi wheels or off something else?

yeh they are Audi wheels, the same wheels you get on a TDI. some guy is selling them cheap. he bought them for his MK 1 A3 but dont fit

According to my ETKA parts catalogue the standard wheels for the Sport are 7.5J x 17H2 ET56 5/112 - part no: 8P0 601 025C.

Audi wheels usually have the part number and size stamped on the inside of wheel. The 5/112 in the description refers to 5 no wheel bolt holes at a PCD (pitch circle diameter) of 112mm. The ET 56 refers to a 56 mm offset.
