manifold problem

i got this of ebay ( 190548223165 ) but i cant get it to fit, has any1 else brought 1 of these and got it to fit, just above the manifold there is a little lip on the engine block, the outside bit of the bolt holes on this manifold is a bit thicker than the standard manifold and dont fit under this lip, the garage dont want to grind it down cause they think it will weaken the manifold or the bolts wont clamp the manifold down properly

I rang the person who sold it me and told him it don't fit and that my car is stuck in the garage in bits and he just laugh......
