Audi A4 - Rear Light Bulbs Fault

Hi people,

I am getting really fed up and frustrated with my rear light bulbs blowing out every other week literally!

Is this a common fault? Is there a solution to this annoying problem?
 
Am I the only one with this fault then?
 
Not had a problem myself. Sounds like too much current is getting to the bulb and burning it out which could only be an electrical issue.
 
Yes I've definitely put the right ones in but I get the same problem after a while.

I've googled the same problem and there have been numerous threads...but no solution :(
 
my daughters A3 was blowing rear bulb every few weeks
i used to get them from my pals garage
i ended up buying 2 from halfrauds as we were away so had to buy them
not had a prob sinse around 3 mth
 
There can be big differences in bulb qualities, I put nice bright Philips and Osram bulbs in our Landy and it kept eating them, said sod it and bought two Ring lamps from the motor factor and they've been fine for about 3 years now, and just as bright...
