how hard is it to replace it?

I honestly couldn't tell you as I haven't fitted it yet. Its sitting under my bed in abox, looks like 2 screws and it's off, I will need an extremely small allen key.

Don't know which I love more, the CSL or the Suzuka S3 both gorgeous cars.

How's this coming along lad?

Its been painfully slow N8, had a lot of family stuff with the addition of a son. Great news but its kinda halted any developments on the car. Have a few changes will get some pics up over the weekend. With the show season pretty much done I have taken the opinion to make the majority of the changes over winter.

Are you going to Players mate?

I will say the CSL is a special car and will always have a place in my heart. It's a beast, you can't ever beat the induction roar from 3rd to 4th gear in sport mode.

The S3 is a good car and it meets my current needs, am lucky to have this spec. Nearly traded it in for a RS3, decided no in the end i am going to wait and keep this for a couple of years.

Cheers

Everyone I've known who has owned a CSL has said it's such a special car (even a guy who suffered with ongoing engine issues from new and ended up with replacement engine). Even after all the troubles he had he still adored it.

Only ever passengered in one (had the BBK and thin buckets) and it was just a weapon. Completely different animal to S3!

Congrats on your son, always best to tinker over winter brother. I would go, but my family is up from the South lad. My next show's will be in March of 2013 now.

Right its been a while so I thought I would update everyone.

The Super RS are stripped and I have sourced new centre badges, something a little different to everyone else. I have polished up all the hex caps with a 3 stage polishing process. I am extremely pleased with the results, took about 1 half hours to do all 4 but its well worth it.

Wasn't impressed with the corroding Audi hubs, so I took the advantage of the warm early Sep weather and painted them. Will do these again once winter has passed us by.

Attended Players a cheeky pic of the car after it was cleaned. I do have a couple more significant updates but will wait to post these soon.

Enjoy the pics.

p.s. Club Suzuka rocks

Thanks Shadowman, like anything it can be painfull sometimes. Can't wait until next year as the show season has pretty much finished.

Update time,

Am considering selling my beloved Suzuka S3, the only reason i am thinking about selling up is it lacks the space I require with 2 kids. Anyone looking for more info please feel free to pm me.

Cheers

You ever get the wheels fitted?

The wheels have been stripped since last year and are sitting in the spare room waiting for the centres to be painted, however the lips, hex caps & bolts have all been polished. Bought new BBS badges, just ordered new BBS valves. They will look amazing when finished, not too sure if I will even fit them, sell them or just keep them for a rainy day.

Rich, that's bad news mate! We STILL need to do that meet, let's resurrect the idea!

Thread resurrection,

Car might be up for sale again. I landed up keeping it in the end as timing wasn't right. Would be open to pm's if anyone is interested.

Cheers
