I have purchased a auto dimming mirror and just got it today.

I have 2 questions I hope someone can please help with, I have had a search but cannot find the answers.

1. The mirror glass has a yellow liquid / bubble below the surface, I have asked the seller about this and he has told me it is because there is no power to the mirror, which makes sense but is that right? Nothing is leaking from it!

2. does anyone know where the wires connect to? I expected it to have 2 qires (live and nuetral) but it has 6

Thanks all.

well mine is on my window and is like this, and it does not work!!

i know its not an answer but perhaps you have been sold a dud? i hope not

I hope it isn't. I got it from a guy on here. Hopefully if it is a dud. He will sort it though.

This is what mine looks like. I'm guessing it's safe to assume its dead. Got a sparky mate coming to try and bench test it in an hour.

If you find out how to wire it up please let me know, I have one but no idea how to connect it up?

Mine looks normal when on the car only notice the difference at night when it does the auto dimming thing so am guessing yours be faulty

Yeah my mate has just come to the same conclusion. He has one factory fitted and his looks normal whilst in car. We have piggy plugged this one into his car and nothing happens with it.
Gutted!!

sorry to hear that bud, cant you contact the seller?

is there no way of getting these fixed?

how much are they from te stealers?

Yeah sorted it out with seller.

Don't think they are fixable. And dread to think what the stealers would charge.
