Sold my S4 today.

May be buying

2002 BMW M3 SMG cabriolet

or

1993 Ferrari Mondial 3.4 T convertible

Or I dont know, any suggestions, I want to spend between £18 to £35k

Are looking for a classic or a proper sports car? What's the criteria?

Always looked at buying a Noble if I had the cash or an RS6 if family was still a consideration

Dont know what to do.

I just have cash burning hole in my pocket.

I have open mind even thinking of TVR Tuscan..

i looked at mondial, woould be nice to own a ferrari! but its only got 300 hp which wont impress you with the line up of cars you have, ferrarii's should be mental!

I used to have a TVR 4.5 Cerbera and it was mental! Lived in London at the time and had to flog it as it got more key marks than looks and went for an S3 (compact, ideal for London)

My understanding is that Tuscans are good but T350's are better built and handle better unless you are thinking of a Tuscan II. I realise that Ferrari's attract the onlookers but TVR's have similar appeal, faster and better noise factor.

Used to know someone fortunate enough to buy a speed twelve 7.0L TVR and you could hear it coming a 1/2 a mile away, a mile if it is on the motorway, lovely!

Go for a TVR T350. You can get a good one for 30k and they are the best looking cars ever built. If you really want a convertable then get a Tamora. I really don't think you can beat what you get with a TVR for this money. Tuscan is nice but apparently a bit of a handful handling-wise.

I'd go for the ferrari, unless you like seeing the RAC man with the TVR.

There are plenty of people with newer TVRs that have not had any issues. Besides, I don't think Ferrari are that much more reliable and when they do break down, they will cost a LOT more to repair!

Would have suggested a Tamora but they have a tendency of giving you a shower whilst driving in the wet because the roof mechanism is bs. Newer post Smolensky ones are better I hear but then our of your price range??

RS6 with my sensible 2.4 kids head on. Even saw a Dodge Viper SRT10 for £30K in decent nick for something outrageous.

The blue leather is not as loud as it looks in pic.
You either like it or you hate it.
I would prefer black but was prepared to compromise to get such a low milage example.
It really is spotless although a couple of the alloys are marked.

will be trying it out over next few weeks but first impressions are good

Ps does anyone need roof rails for their audi as I have set from my B5 S4.
