Anyone know if there is a Xenon (clear lens) replacement headlight available for 1997 A4?

order the ones from the 1998 S4, or alternatively you can fit the later headlights with a bit of modification. It's very easy to do.
Hi m8! yes as suggested you could either get the 1998 S4 xenons which are a tw0 piece version or fit in the one piece set but with modification. The modification involves cutting a little bit of metal! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/idea.gif. there is a metal lip about 1.5cm where the front indicator lens sits...you need to remove this so that you can fit in the one-piece. The wiring (if you can get hold of the original wire loom is the same! colour so that pee easy...but i couldn't connect the level adjustment as it was controlled by the rear suspension on the S4) I did this modification a couple of years back. Got the lights second hand off allaudi..for about 330 then.
I believe In Pro do a two piece projector headlamp but i don't think that is xenon.
