Just ordered my first Audi!

Hi everyone

After much deliberation I paid my deposit for a new S3 today. I've ordered an S3 Sportback Black Edition in Panther Black with s-tronic and comfort pack. I take delivery on the first as the clock strikes midnight and I cant wait! It's coming from Listers in Worcester. :yes:

Thanks, I'm am very excited. I'm in Bewdley Worcestershire. After going from a MK5 Golf GTI to a Toyota Hilux, I needed some speed back in my life!

Have a look at the link above and add your name in the section thats closest to you. These are sections for local meets etc. Put some pics p of your car when you get it please tom, we love pics in here. :) x
 
Hi tomo, my mom and dad used to have a caravan near Bewdley when I was a kid, Acre Farm if I remember right. I have some good memories from back then. Hope you enjoy your new car.

I'll upload pics when I get it (the dealer sent me some pics of it in the warehouse but they dont show it off!

Yeah, theres loads of caravan parks round here, riverside town with plenty of pubs!

Warren, I've always been a 3 door man but the Sportback's grown on me and I have got it in my head that I'm going to drive it to the Alps to go snowboarding!

You get an awesome pop from the DSG when booting it!
 
Yeah, I took a 2nd in the stronic before taking the plunge and I love that noise....increases the grin factor!

Excellent, not long now! Enjoy it :) My 1 tip.... Paint the disc hubs with smooth silver hammerite ;)

I know! Only reason I haven't done it is that apparently they don't handle as well.

Tr8ps on here does an awesome LED interior light kit too! Have a look in the EM tuning section for details :)

I was the same after reading Warrens thread!

Look to change the stock fog light bulbs too, they ruin the white light of the dRL's when the coming/leaving home lights activate. I went for Philips Diamond Vision H11's :)
 
It's the standard embossed in black. I'd have liked silk nappa but didn't want red like the one car they offered me (or waiting for a factory order!).

Will be nice with the embossing. You don't get it on any option leather :(
 
I'm excited for you!

I picked up my approved 60reg S3 Black Edition from Listers Audi in Worcester at the end of June, and am really enjoying the car! I think you might just enjoy yours!

Funnily enough, I'm back at Listers on the 31st of Aug to get a new rear window, I'll be picking it up at the end of the day, but I doubt I'll hang around till midnight ;)

Anyways - thats two things we share a passion about, S3's and snowsports! Have fun doing both!

Yeah, they've been helpful thus far as I made them work for the sale. Cant wait now!

My mates dropping me in to collect and I know he will be wanting to see performance on the way back but I think I should take it easy for the first few hundred miles!
 
Dropped by the dealers today as I was passing and they had just cleaned the car and parked it in the showroom.....the wait is killing me!
 
So how's the car? ;)

I think I saw it under the reveal cover (if that was yours) when I was in Worcester Audi yesterday!

It's awesome love it!!!! Yeah that was the one. Gutted I've got a wedding today as I want to drive it!
