Fitted, really pleased with them. Make it look much nicer!

Cheers,
Si

Going to have to get some myself, looks a lot nicer than standered pedals i must admit

What about aluminium foot rest?
I would love some with S3 logo on it:whistle2:

Here is mine.
One of the ones off ebay.
Cut a piece of sheet metal to size and painted it black with a red bit for the "S", then just glued it to the back and installed the footrest.

Very interested in these, are these simple to fit? I'd hate to do it wrong and ruin my car! Also, has anybody had any issues with the LHD/RHD? I've email'd the seller asking if they were suitable for RHD and he said no...

Fitted my set today - took all of 10mins. In case anyone was wondering despite the ebay description - these DO fit the cabriolet (MY2011).

Hi

They are really easy to fit mate, takes about ten mins tops! I just bought them without reading the listing and he sent me a message saying I ordered lhd ones but did I want rhd as he knew I was from uk. He said they were more expensive but he would send free for me.

Really good seller!

Got for it mate, you won't regret getting them!

Cheers,
Si

I'm going to get these fitted once I get back from holiday next week. :)

He has a listing on eBay.co.uk now for RHD pedals, selling them for £49.99 + £9.99 postage.

This is the kit I bought.

Im not sure your link is working bud, it takes me straight to the ebay homepage. Either this or he has sold out already.

Also, has anybody came across anything like this? AUDI S3 A3 ST VAG ALLOY FOOTREST PEDAL GTI TURBO FSI | eBay

I'd be interested in something of this nature but wouldnt want the S3 badge (simply because I dont own an S3!)

Thanks mate, i did look at these but was thrown off by the lack of "Audi" in the title. Ordered some anyway, cant wait to get them on.

Just received my pedals from the chap on Ebay from Czech. Ordered Sunday. Received Thursday at a cost of £54.44 inc P&P. Fitted them as soon as I walked in the door before the Mrs even had time to make me a cuppa. Real easy and quick mod, genuine too and much cheaper than the Stealers or TPS.

hi,i phoned my local stealer was told my accelerator pedal needed re-tuned or something like that and the total was 235 in total, is he at it ??

Definately at it, thats why they are known as stealers. It is simple plug and play. 10 minute job.

Is that just to fit the pedals????? I ****** hope not.

ok buddy cheers he just got me worried with saying it needed re tuned, i have a 61 plate does that matter ???

hi mate have you fitted these yet?? it says these are for vw cars only nothing about a3 or audi

Yes mate, all fitted with no problems.

Check out post #43 for a pic fitted.

I asked the guy before buying them & he said they all have the same part numbers if you look on ETKA.

Guys, just thought I'd show my appreciateion to this thread. Bought a set of the pedals from the supplier on eBay from Czech Republic. Absolutely bang on. Arrived quickly and fitted in 10 mins after reading up through some stuff on AS.net. Very happy indeed.

I even went to the stretch of ordering a non official Audi Dead Pedal / Footrest from an engineering company over ebay and fitted that to finish things of. Was a right pain in the *** to get the footrest section out at first as it has internal plastic hooks holding it on aswell as the screw on top and the bolt behind the break pedal.

All looks spot on and adds a quality feel to the footwell area. Next up will be Trups interior lighting kit and TT Air Vents.

Cheers again people.

Fair play mate, it does really change the footwell for sure!

Crikey. I'm very early learning about cars, my A3 being my first car, and even I managed to fit these in 10 mins and my car is exactly the same now as before. No tuning. Go for it and get them.......

I got my dead pedal from this guy at Myldan Engineering AUDI A3 S3 BRUSHED STAINLESS STEEL FOOTREST NEW | eBay

Bright pic below, although the previous pic with the S3 Dead Pedal with red was a lovely touch over just the rings. Mines not an S3 though.

Finally got fitted today!.. Should be a ten minute job but i could not for the life of me get the two clips out the bottom of the original accelerator. Looks really good.

The footrests look nice, i prefer the S3 one but again, mines not an S3 :( I'm going to do some digging on ebay.

Just be ready its a bit of a nightmare to get the footrest section out. It needs pushing / sliding upwards first to release the three plastic hooks that catch in three cuts in the framework behind. Wish I had taken pictures now. Don't force it as you'll break hooks like I did. Ha. I does look good. Even "The Skeptic" (Wife) was impressed. Ha.

Hmm ... this took minutes to fit. Just use some intelligence ... if you look at the replacement accelerator pedal you can work out what needs to be done to remove the exiting unit. I used two skewers - one the left hand notch you need to push the skewer all the way in and push left so the pin gets moved right (you'll understand). On the right hand groove simply push the skewer as far as possible until the resistence stiffens (the clip has now been pushed back) then pull the unit up. Anyone having problems with this needs their head examined ...

Plug connector on accelerator pedal just won't come off

Yea that was the only thing that was a bit of a pain when I did mine, I pushed the grey plastic bit down then used a screwdriver to prise it up

I'll have another go today once I get feeling back in my fingers ahha

Here is mine.
One of the ones off ebay.
Cut a piece of sheet metal to size and painted it black with a red bit for the "S", then just glued it to the back and installed the footrest.
Did something similar with mine using carbon wrap vinyl stuck face up so visible
through the holes, and used plain gloss black behind the 3 and reflective red behind the S.
Also bought better (and shorter 10mm) 1 piece flanged bolts and nyloc nuts as the ones
supplied are too fussy, physically high in profile and I don't like the screwcup style washers. I'll also
stick it to the footrest with foam tape to ensure it doesn't vibrate.
