I have just bought a audi ipod dock that fits in the upper shelf of my A3 but after looking at it and my glovebox it would seem that i need to either cut some out of the back of the glovebox or get a new glovebox?

The A3 glovebox needs to be replaced to fit the genuine Audi Ipod dock, 6 CD changer or Audi Music Interface. The airbag defeat moves to the center of the glovebox to allow the dock to be fitted close to the right of the glovebox and not obstruct the heater blower.
