Well I got my BMW 120d today, great little car. I got the ES version which has 16" alloys and aircon. It’s in Black (non metallic) and has grey/black "Moiré" cloth interior.

The car is a pocket rocket with all the low down torque, very surprised - I think i'm a diesel convert! The turbo is smooth and punchy (better than the 1.9TDI in the new golf I tried last year).

Standard has 163BHP with a respectable 0-62MPH in just 7.9secs. First item to buy will be the AMD remap promising 200BHP +. Hmmmmmmm

I know allot of people think the car is butt ugly but to me it’s elegant and very different; I have not seen many on the road (probably because they are not everyone’s cuppa tea). It’s a bit like Marmite isn’t it....

I love the engine and it's performance, but the styling isn't for everyone. But the build and quality are excellent, as what you would expect.

And with a remap, that will be soo fast.

And i like marmite.

Best of luck with new car , and honest we wont rip extract the urine to much!
will be good to see pictures , hope u have many trouble free years of happy motoring , will be intresting to see how cars/dealer service compare to each other!

my new car is a Volvo S60 T5 in black...its awsome, like sh*t off a shovel and very well made.... but i will never , ever buy a black car again.
invest in a new sponge and chamois now mate..... youll be washing it as often as your balls my friend.
 
they seem a right bland bunch best of luck with the new motor and me thinks youll be back soon lol.
 
I’m not going anywhere m8..Staying right here, as said yes they do seem rather bland...I’m still doing the Audi meets with the BMW I don’t care - it’s my right to have the urine bashed outta me by fellow Audi friends! Most of you are friends so I don’t think because I get a different car I should just up and leave.

In fact I think I need to embarrass a few of you now I don’t have the 1.6, so is that race still on Rob, Spencer, Kevin, Eric and Dan?

The BMW will lick the Audi sadly to say. It will even lick the A3 1.8T's out there and when I get the remap well ill be surprising Peter and Eric

It was only the "right side " pack he bought casue i clearly saw him leave the motorway and there was no left indicator! obvoiusly its very expensive to get it fitted to both sides so he must have oppted just for one side only ! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ok.gif
